Camping Lune sur Le Lac is part of Dordogne Storage Solutions, a good choice for all year round caravan storage
This small campsite, located a few minutes drive from Monpazier is set on a hill overlooking it's own lake. With less than 10 pitches, all spacious and with their own electric, water and grey waste drainage, the perfect balance between comfort and nature has been acheived.
Set within 70 acres of fields and woods, this site is great for nature lovers. Our time there was very relaxing, with the sounds of the frogs in the evenings and the birds in the morning. But it's not all nature and back to basics, each pitch has their own wifi router so no worries to stream your favorite tv in the evening.
We've tried to sum up what makes Camping Lune Sur Le Lac special.
Reason #1: The Lake
The camping isn't called Lune sur le Lac for nothing. Their 4 acre lake will keep fishermen, wild swimmers and dogs all happy.
Reason #2: Large fenced off pitches
A dog owners dream, no more getting the long leads wrapped around the awning poles! At Camping Lune Sur Le Lac, with their large fenced off pitches, the dogs can enjoy their holiday too.
Not every pitch is fenced off, but every pitch is generous. There's plenty of space for 8m+ vehicles, or XL awnings.
Reason #3: The Area
The campsite is a very short drive from not one but two 'Plus Beaux Villages'; Monpazier and Belvès. Awarded the prestigious label of one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, then you can be sure these villages will have some interesting architectural features, along with good a selection of bars, restaurants, and local shops. The weekly markets are not to be missed. The Dordogne is home to 10 Plus Beaux Villages, why not take a day out and explore them all?
Reason #4: We Just Like It
Sometimes you just like a place.
A big thank you to the hardworking Jo for her lovely welcome. We'll be back!
